  • Day 1- The No Jab Weight Loss Journey Begins

    Today’s Lunch Salad

Hey everyone! Today marks day one of my Ozempic-free weight loss journey, and I’m excited to share it with you. I am starting the journey at 208 lbs and my goal is to hit 180 lbs. I’m aiming to lose about 25-30 lbs over the next 4-6 months, though I know there might be a few bumps along the way.

    My Day of Healthy Eating

I’m all about intermittent fasting, so my first meal wasn’t until after 1 PM. I kicked things off with my Seed DS-1 pre/probiotic on an empty stomach to get my digestive system primed and ready for the day.

About 30 minutes later, I had a Spring Mix Salad with 6 oz of grilled chicken. I added olive oil and lemon, making it as tasty as a salad can be. I usually add AG1 to my routine, but I forgot to bring it to work today—lesson learned for tomorrow!

    Workouts & Recovery

After work, I grabbed a lemon-lime Celsius energy drink and jumped straight into a quick 15-minute jump rope workout with my Crossrope Amp and app. It was intense and extremely exhausting! To help with recovery, I took 5 mg of Momentous Creatine after working out.

    Evening Meals and Snacks

For dinner I had another green salad—this time with Mikodo Ginger dressing—and then made a delicious steak with burnt broccoli for dinner. For a light snack/dessert, I had an apple, and I wrapped up my eating for the day at 9:45 PM.

I’m looking forward to share my journey, packed with healthy meal ideas and all my ups and downs. Stay tuned for more on my diet blogging adventure as I explore new recipes, tackle roadblocks, and celebrate every win on the way to a healthier lifestyle!

  • Time to get on the weight loss wagon

It’s been nearly two months since I started this blog and dreamed up the idea of kicking off my diet journey. I’ll be real with you—I’ve been all talk and no action when it comes to my diet. Even though my weight’s held steady (thanks to my workouts with weights and some cardio), I haven’t really dived into changing what I eat.

That’s about to change. Starting this week, I’m finally getting on board: I’m going to share my meals, my struggles, and all the little victories along the way. I’m excited to see where this new approach takes me, and I hope you’ll stick around to join me on this ride.

    Stay Tuned!

  • Welcome to Nozempic: My Accountability Weight Loss Journey

Hey there! I’m a 49-year-old dad, husband, and executive, diving headfirst into a mission to lose 30 pounds and get fit. Spoiler alert: I’m doing this the real way—no shortcuts, no magic pills, no Ozempic. But my goal is for people to think I’m on it because of my results—and honestly, I’ll take that as a compliment!

    Why “Nozempic”?

The name says it all. While Ozempic has been all over the news and my community as an easy quick fix for weight loss, I want to try to get results the old-fashioned way: with hard work and consistency while staying jab free. This journey is about holding myself accountable for every salad, every sweat session, and yes, every slip-up. And let’s be real, there will definitely be a few slip-ups along the way.

    What You Can Expect

Nozempic is where my health journey meets honesty, a touch of humor, and a whole lot of transparency. Here’s what I’ll be sharing:

    1. Daily Meal and Fitness Updates
From green drinks to cheat-day pizza, I’ll be sharing what’s on my plate and how I’m staying active. Expect honest updates and definitely a few questionable food pics. Since this journey is about balancing health with real life, I’ll also be dining out regularly, showing my attempts to navigate menus while hopefully staying on track. It’s all about making this journey relatable and sustainable.
    2. Honest Reviews
I’ll test fitness gear, apps, supplements, and anything else that claims to help with health and weight loss. If it’s a waste of time, you’ll hear about it. I’m not doing this for money, so if there’s an affiliate link, all proceeds will go to Charity. This will always be fully transparent—I’m here for accountability, not a paycheck.
    3. Recipes That Don’t Suck
I’m a self-proclaimed picky eater—think childhood staples like pizza, chicken fingers, and pasta as my go-to comfort foods. My mission? To find healthier versions of these favorites and hopefully maturing my palate a little bit too. I’ll be experimenting in the kitchen and sharing the wins (and yes, the occasional culinary disaster) with you. Let’s make healthy eating feel less like a chore and more like a treat.
    4. The Real Stuff
Weight loss isn’t always pretty or Instagram-perfect. I’ll share the good days, the tough days, and the days where pizza wins—because it will happen.

    My Goals

Sure, the big goal is to lose 30 pounds, but it’s about more than just the number on the scale. I’m here to:

    • Build strength and flexibility (because I want to stay mobile as I get older).
    • Prove to myself—and maybe to you—that you don’t need shortcuts to win the weight loss battle.

    Why Blog About It?

Accountability changes the game. Just knowing someone’s watching might make me pause before grabbing that cookie (I’m a sugar addict). Beyond that, I want this blog to be a space where we swap tips, share lessons, and have fun.

Weight Loss Tips, Fitness Hacks, and Real-Life Recipes

If you’re looking for real-life weight loss tips, fitness hacks that fit into a busy schedule, and recipes that are actually enjoyable, you’re in the right place. Nozempic is about proving you can do it—without shortcuts, gimmicks, or trendy injections.

    Join Me on the Journey

If you’ve ever felt like weight loss and fitness are out of reach because life is just too hectic, I’m right there with you. Follow along, share your wins and struggles, and let’s prove together that real change is possible—no Ozempic required (but feel free to let people wonder!).

Here’s to losing weight, staying accountable, and proving I can do it—while hoping the world doesn’t watch me fail. Let’s crush it!
